Conceptual Position

"Famili" belongs to the Relhi – MINDE subseries, where mental and social systems are mapped as cognitive architectures.
Family is not only people and walls. It is a cognitive system—memory, fear, love, conflicts, traditions, silence. In Famili, I painted not a home, but the mental architecture of a family.

Famili is not a narrative depiction of a household, but a conceptual map of family as a cognitive and emotional system. The painting visualizes family not as a sociological unit, but as an internal structure of perception, memory, tension, and affection.

In this work, the family becomes a mental topology—a field of interconnected emotional vectors, relational dynamics, and unconscious structures. The environment is not a background; it is a projection of the family’s internal states, where happiness, conflict, dependency, and intimacy coexist as spatial phenomena.

********

Famili reflects on the emotional and psychological structures associated with the concept of family.

Within AndrBel’s conceptual language, the idea of family is interpreted not through figurative imagery but through structural relationships between color fields, movement, and spatial tension.

These compositional relationships evoke the complex interplay of connection, memory, and identity that defines human familial bonds.

The painting therefore functions as a visual exploration of how collective experiences shape individual perception.

Position within the MINDE System

The MINDE conceptual domain within the GESES framework focuses on internal psychological structures.

The Relhi–MINDE cycle explores:

  • personal memory
  • emotional relationships
  • the cognitive patterns through which individuals interpret interpersonal connections

Within this structure, Famili represents an exploration of shared emotional space, where individual perception is influenced by collective experience.

Collector Positioning

As one of the early works within the Relhi–MINDE cycle, Famili occupies an important position within AndrBel’s exploration of psychological perception.
For collectors, the work represents a bridge between conceptual research and emotionally resonant themes that remain central to the artist’s evolving practice.

Collectors acquiring works from the earliest stages of a conceptual cycle often become part of the historical narrative surrounding that system’s development.
Within AndrBel’s practice, these works represent early structural elements of a broader artistic research program.

Strategic Context

The controlled circulation of the 7 core paintings establishes a scarcity structure similar to early institutional positioning observed historically in artists whose foundational works defined the market architecture of their practice.

Market Framework

The acquisition is accompanied by a structured framework designed to protect long-term value:

• Minimum holding period before resale: 2 years
• Artist Right of First Refusal on resale
• 8% artist participation on secondary market transactions
• Institutional exhibition loan opportunities within ARTHALL BEL4224

I am interested in how the mind constructs it.” — AndrBel
